  3. Confirm phone, email and source.
  4. Review previous messages and internal notes.
  5. Add or update tags, badges and required fields.
  6. Add a concise internal note when another user needs context.
  7. Assign the correct person or team.
  8. Update pipeline and follow-up.
  9. Save and verify the values on the contact record.
