Connect WhatsApp with Meta Embedded Signup
Use the guided Meta flow to select or create a Business Portfolio, WABA and phone number and authorize Wemblo.

Before you begin
- Sign in to Wemblo as an authorized workspace owner or manager.
- Use a Meta account with the required Business Portfolio access.
- Prepare the business phone number.
- Allow pop-ups for the setup session.
- Do not use an untrusted browser extension during credential authorization.
STEP-BY-STEP IN WEMBLO & META
- Open Wemblo -> Settings -> Integrations -> WhatsApp.
- Choose Connect with Meta or Embedded Signup.
- A Meta authorization window opens.
- Sign in with the authorized Meta account.
- Review the Meta permission request.
- Select an existing Business Portfolio or create the correct business container.
- Select an existing WABA or create one.
- Select an existing eligible business phone number or register a new number.
- Enter the display name and business information requested by Meta.
- Complete SMS or voice verification when prompted.
- Approve the required permissions.
- Return to Wemblo.
- Confirm the selected business, WABA and phone number.
- Save the connection.
- Send an outbound test.
- Send an inbound test from a separate phone.
- Confirm Smart Inbox All and WhatsApp tab.
WHAT TO VERIFY AFTER CONNECTION
- Correct business is shown.
- Correct display number is shown.
- WABA and Phone Number ID are available internally.
- Connection status is active.
- Webhook/event delivery is active.
- Message and media tests succeed.
- The test contact is created or updated.
COMMON ISSUES & SOLUTIONS
| Meta window does not open | Allow pop-ups and retry in a supported browser. |

| Wrong business selected | Cancel before completion and restart with the correct Business Portfolio. |
| Phone number cannot be verified | Confirm country code, SMS/voice availability and current registration. |
| Permission denied | Use a Meta account with the required asset access. |
| Connection completes but no inbound message | Review webhook/event subscription and the selected WABA. |
PROVIDER NOTES
Meta may change the Embedded Signup interface, requested permissions or business-review process. Wemblo cannot guarantee provider approval. Review the official Meta Embedded Signup documentation before a major production connection.
