Connect a Meta Business Portfolio and Facebook Page

Authorize the correct Meta Business Portfolio and Facebook Page for Messenger, comments, Lead Ads and publishing in Wemblo.

REQUIRED PROVIDER ROLE

Use a Meta user who can access the correct Business Portfolio and Page. The user must be able to grant the permissions required for messages, comments, lead access or publishing according to the selected features.

PROVIDER-SIDE CHECKS

  1. Open https://business.facebook.com/.
  2. Select the correct Business Portfolio.
  3. Open Business Settings.
  4. Open Accounts -> Pages.
  5. Confirm the Facebook Page is listed.
  6. Review People or Partners with access to the Page.
  7. Confirm the user completing setup can manage the required Page activities.
  8. Review the Page's messaging, comment and publishing status.

WEMBLO-SIDE CONNECTION

  1. Open Wemblo -> Settings -> Integrations -> Facebook & Instagram.
  2. Choose Connect Meta or Add Facebook Page.
  3. Sign in with the authorized Meta user.
  4. Review the requested permissions.
  5. Select the correct Business Portfolio.
  6. Select the Facebook Page.
  7. Approve only the permissions required by the enabled Wemblo features.
  8. Return to Wemblo.
  9. Confirm the selected Page name and status.
  10. Save.
  11. Send a Facebook Messenger test message.
  12. Add a test comment to a controlled Page post.
  13. Confirm Smart Inbox All, Facebook Messenger and Facebook Comments.

SECURITY & PROVIDER NOTES

Do not connect a Page through a former employee's personal Meta account without a business continuity plan. Meta controls Page eligibility, permissions, platform policy and availability. Review authorization after staff changes.
