- Define the Telegram customer goal.
- Create approved public bot commands through BotFather where needed.
- Open Wemblo Automation.
- Choose Telegram as the applicable source or trigger.
- Add welcome and help behavior.
- Add keyword or command triggers.
- Add messages, questions and fields.
- Add contact source, tags and assignment.
- Add fallback and human handover.
- Test /start, a known keyword, an unknown message and an agent request.
- Review logs.
- Activate.
Best practices
Keep commands short. Explain what the bot can do. Do not imitate a human when disclosure is appropriate. Do not add a user to a marketing sequence without suitable permission. Use a person for sensitive or final decisions.
