Connect a Telegram Bot to Wemblo
Enter the protected bot token, confirm bot identity, configure updates and test Telegram messages in Smart Inbox.

WEMBLO-SIDE STEPS
- Open Wemblo -> Settings -> Integrations -> Telegram.
- Choose Add Bot or Connect Telegram.
- Enter an internal connection name.
- Paste the bot token into the protected field.
- Save.
- Confirm the displayed bot username matches the intended bot.
- Allow Wemblo to configure the webhook where supported.
- Review connection status.
- Open the bot in Telegram.
- Send /start.
- Send a fictional inquiry.
- Confirm the conversation appears in Smart Inbox All and Telegram.
- Send a reply from Wemblo.
- Test assignment and handover.
WEBHOOK & UPDATE NOTES
Telegram can deliver incoming updates through an HTTPS webhook. Wemblo may configure it automatically. If the interface exposes manual callback information, follow the current Wemblo field labels and official Telegram Bot API instructions. Do not run an incompatible long-polling process and webhook for the same bot without a technical plan.
