  2. Open mail, SMTP, API or security settings.
  3. Confirm SMTP access is allowed.

GOOGLE ACCOUNT APP PASSWORD EXAMPLE

Google recommends using Sign in with Google where available. An app password is a 16-digit passcode and normally requires 2-Step Verification. The option may be unavailable for some organization-managed accounts, security-key-only configurations or Advanced Protection accounts.

  1. Sign in to the intended Google Account.
  2. Enable 2-Step Verification if the organization permits and requires it.
  3. Open App Passwords: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords.
  4. Create an app password for the approved email connection.
  5. Copy the generated value once.
  6. Enter it in the protected Wemblo password field.
  7. Revoke it when the connection is removed or compromised.

IMPORTANT GOOGLE NOTE

Google may revoke app passwords after the main account password changes. Prefer OAuth when Wemblo and the provider support it.
