Step-by-step instructions
- Open Google AI Studio.
- Open Dashboard -> Projects.
- Use the default project or import the intended Google Cloud project.
- Open API Keys.
- Create a new key in the selected project.
- Apply the provider-recommended restrictions or auth-key configuration.
- Copy the key.
- Open Wemblo AI Providers and choose Google Gemini.
- Paste the key in the protected field.
- Select an approved model.
- Save and test.
- Review quota, billing and key type.
- Rotate and disable an exposed key after the replacement is active.
Test and verification
- Save the provider configuration.
- Run a short fictional customer question.
- Confirm the selected model returns a result.
- Review provider usage and Wemblo AI usage.
